2023 Season in Review

The 2023 season got off to a great start during the Memorial Holiday. The weather on land and on the ocean was perfect for most of the days. Clients landed some beautiful halibut (several over 50lbs), Pacific Grey Cod, and Rockfish. June provided more beautiful days on the water, filled with Halibut, Rockfish, Pacific Grey Cod and King salmon. July was a funny one. We got pushed off the water more this summer than any I can remember in the last 10 years. When we could fish, it was epic. Of course the beginning of July means the opening of Ling Cod Season. Clients landed big Ling Cod, Halibut, Rockfish, Pacific Grey Cod, Silver and King Salmon. August was also a funny year for weather. Not as many whales were around, although the bait was everywhere. With the rainy weather, we got Silvers into the rivers early, and on the ocean it was awesome. Most days clients caught a bunch of everything: Kings, Silvers, Halibut, Ling Cod, and Rockfish. We didn’t see as much of Pacific Grey Cod, but then again we weren’t looking for them! We only fished the first week of September this year and our season ended much like August. Kings slowed down, but the Silvers were everywhere and when the bite was on, it was on !!

My crew of Adrian, Okean and I would like to thank all those that put their trust and investment of time and money to us. We hope everyone had a fabulous vacation, adventure and some Dreams Came True. We know you have a choice, and we are very appreciative that you chose us for your lodging and fishing adventure. We hope to see you again next summer. God Bless, have a safe and wonderful winter. “
